As Director of Retirement Services, Jim leads the consulting and advisory retirement practice of Fratarcangeli Wealth Management. Affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors, Institutional Retirement and Trust since 2013, Jim has a perspective drawn from a distinct array of experiences. In the highly specialized retirement industry, Jim is adept at working with the company leaders on plan design, investments, and operations, to help clients make the prudent decisions that bring about the holistic solutions that maximize retirement outcomes.
Previously working as a CPA (not currently practicing), Jim early on dedicated his career to the retirement industry. Starting on the plan sponsor side, Jim has been helping clients develop their retirement plans marked by handling complex plan design and administration, while leading the fiduciary oversight covering a proven 25-year track record.
As a trusted advisor, Jim’s clients value his objective leadership. Satisfying the needs of the plan participants is our clients’ ultimate measure of success, and is the differentiator of Fratarcangeli Wealth Management’s distinct effort to provide dedicated resources help improve each employee’s financial health.
Jim is an alum of University of Illinois- Champaign where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance alongside a minor in the aviation school’s Professional Pilot Program. He graduated from Loyola University – Chicago, under a research scholarship in the Accounting Department with magna cum laude honors, earning a Master of Business Administration prior to achieving a CPA designation. Jim also served as an adjunct professor for Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business.
Jim supports the group’s national practice, with offices in Florida, Michigan, Indiana, and New York. With a passion for education opportunities, Jim supports student access to needed resources in our education system.
